The autonomy of smartphones is undoubtedly their biggest flaw, one of the main characteristics that every company tries to increase as much as possible. The Chinese company ChangHong, on the other hand, has the solution to the problem!
ChangHong is known in China primarily for televisions rather than smartphones, yet it has delivered a news that is nothing short of revolutionary: implementing a 5000 mAh battery in a smartphone as thin as an iPhone 4 / 4S (whose battery is about just 1400 mAh).
The device is called ChangHong Z9 and its technical characteristics are:
- 5.5 ”display in 720p
- MediaTek quad-core processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 5000 mAh battery
This device will probably not be sold on other continents outside of Asia, but a device with its own battery would be a panacea for smartphones currently on the market. Hopefully, Apple will decide too, because 1400 mAh is too little in a smartphone.
