A former Naughty Dog employee is working on a secret Sony project for PS4

About a year ago, the veteran game designer Quentin Cobb has left Naughty Dog. He started working as a Senior Game Designer on Just Survive, a zombie survival shooter. But it seems that now he works for sony once again.

Sony is preparing something

Cobb keeps his job, but at the moment nothing has been specified about this new project. We only know that he is a Sony’s secret project for PlayStation 4.

First hypotheses

This news can mean several things. One is that the experienced designer could return to help Sony with some of its best franchises. Additionally, Cobb’s LinkedIn profile reveals that the studio he now works for is located in “San Diego and vicinity.”

So it could just as easily be a new Uncharted game, since Sony San Diego is currently a new studio collaborating with a “big Sony development studio.”

Another possibility is that Cobb could be involved in a PS4 exclusive sequel that everyone wants but isn’t quite confirmed yet: Horizon Zero Dawn 2.
