A study reveals that if Apple launched the iPhone 5C in China it would gain a good share of the market

The main reason why Apple does not have much market share in the world is not due to the fact that the devices are not competitive, quite the opposite! What is holding back Apple’s growth is the high price of the devices, not accessible to everyone.

According to a study, the cheap iPhone (also called Lite or 5C), would earn Apple a good share of the market, the same market dominated by Samsung thanks to its various budget devices. An investigation by Morgan Stanley reveals that if the Cupertino company were to sell iPhone 5C for $ 486, it would earn Apple double the market share it currently has. It would seem a high price (it is about $ 500) for a cheap device, but it seems that Chinese buyers consider the sum reasonable.

Even today, iPhone 4 and 4S sell much more than the iPhone 5 in China, although these two devices are no longer the top precisely because of the much more affordable price than the sixth generation of iPhone.
