A new investigation between Samsung and Apple buyers has revealed some interesting data. Let’s find out together what emerged from the survey.
Among the most interesting data, we find that 20% of new iPhone owners were Android users.
Samsung smartphones running Android have not been able to do much harm to Apple, however, only 7% of new Samsung owners come from iPhones. Overall, Apple manages to keep iPhone owners and most users prefer to buy a new Apple smartphone instead of switching to Android.
According to the survey released on Monday, Samsung manages to attract users who have never bought a smartphone.
The Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) survey recorded the results of smartphone buyers between July 2012 and June 2013. Both companies managed to keep their users. Apple has managed to keep their iPhone customers and Samsung has managed to keep their Android users.
In numbers, Apple has managed to grab 33% of Samsung customers, while Android has attracted just 11% of Apple users.
