Some of the employees of Ubisoft Montreal are said to be already working on the sequel to Assassin’s Creed. The open-world sequel hasn’t been officially announced yet, but there seems to be a few things known about the game. For example, David Wilkinson via the AusGamers have made it clear that Altair, the main character of the first part, can go swimming in the sequel. According to him, the studio is working on making the main character even better and the sequel, which is planned for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, would be even better and more innovative than its predecessor. Unfortunately, more details could not be given at this time. Given the first record-breaking sales sample, they certainly have the necessary pressure on their shoulders to come up with something good. Assassin’s Creed 2 will in any case no longer be released in 2008, Ubisoft CEO Laurent Detoc recently announced.
