Android is the least stable mobile operating system in the world, while iOS is the most stable

Crittercism, one of the mobile application performance management (APM) solutions, has published a new study entitled “Mobile Experience Benchmark”. The 19-page document covers several topics, but perhaps the most interesting is the section on the app stability of the various mobile platforms.

The company has considered crashing the mobile application on various versions of iOS and Android, running on a wide range of devices.

But what came out of this study?

iOS 7.1 is the most stable mobile operating system in the world, while, on Google’s platform, Android Gingerbread is the least stable.

Note that the applications on iOS 6 are crashate 2.5%, he was born in 2.6% on iPad 2, and applications on Android Gingerbread and the Nexus 7 Tablet, crashed 1.7%. It is also worth mentioning that the study only covers third-party applications, so this does not include stocks. This makes it clear that the latest versions of iOS and Android are the most stable, but that Apple, in the old versions, makes the operating system less stable, so that we switch to a newer product.

We remind you that the statistic was carried out on more than 1 billion devices, and is therefore to be considered very valid.
