Apocalypse event Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege playable from tomorrow

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege introduces a limited-time event called Apocalypse that will be playable from 4 p.m. tomorrow, May 4, through May 18. The in-game event introduces a post-apocalyptic version of the Outback map where players fight for their clan, hope and freedom.

In the world of Apocalypse, humanity’s reliance on nuclear energy has led to the end of civilization and the creation of two clans: The Keepers and The Warband. These warriors and vultures seek the last plant on Earth that possesses the power to return life.

The new game mode, Canister, lets players battle as The Keepers (defenders) or The Warband (attackers) for the last plant on Earth. Defenders move the plant can around the map, while attackers activate specific scanners to detect defenders roaming the rooms. The main objective of the attackers is to capture the can while the defenders have to protect the can until the time runs out. The last option to secure victory is to eliminate all opponents.

The Apocalypse event brings a collection of 35 items to the game for Fuze, Gridlock, Maverick, Nomad, Twitch, Maestro, Melusi, Rook, Smoke and Valkyrie. Players gain access to personalized head gear, weapon skins, and uniforms. All Operators exclusive limited-time customization items are available separately as bundles for 1,680 R6 Credits or through the Apocalypse Packs for 300 R6 Credits or 12,500 Renown.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is already available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows PC via the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is also part of Ubisoft+, Ubisoft’s subscription service.
