Apple fixes a serious flaw on the developer site

According to data released by Apple, the Cupertino company has finally corrected the flaw that caused the downtime of the Dev site a few weeks ago.

Many of you will remember that the developer site was attacked by a security expert who wanted to prove to Apple the vulnerability of their site. The bug that the expert used concerned theiAd Workbench which, apparently, was corrected by Apple.

This bug allowed Ibrahim Balic to steal nicknames, emails and much more of many developers but, since his goal was only to demonstrate the vulnerability of the site, all the stolen files have been eliminated.

Apple has determined that the credit for the discovery of this bug goes to 7dscan.com and SCANV of www.knowsec.com. Apple reported that the bug report came on July 18 indicating that Balic’s was only sent on July 22 suggesting that the attack carried out by Balic is not the basis of the forced maintenance of the site.
