Apple releases iOS 8.0.1, but retires it shortly after due to major bugs


Yesterday evening, as announced a few days ago, Apple made available a new update of its mobile operating system called iOS 8.0.1 which introduced a series of bug fixes relating to problems encountered on the first final version of the new firmware for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. But sensationally, after a few hours this update was withdrawn due to problems serious emerged on the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus after the update.

The owners of the new iPhone 6 who have updated to iOS 8.0.1 have in fact found themselves with an unwelcome surprise, the device no longer takes the network and therefore remains without phone and data connectionand also the Touch ID, the fingerprint sensor, was unusable. In short, iOS 8.0.1 made iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus unusable, an error that has never happened in all these years at home Apple and that led the Californian company to have to quickly withdraw the update.

The problem seems to be confined only to the new iPhone 6 models, however for all those who have performed the update and have problems, or simply want to go back to what is the latest useful and working update, they can follow the instructions provided by apple to make the downgrade to iOS 8.

The Californian company apologized for the incident and announced that it is already working to solve the problem, a new one should be released shortly iOS 8.0.2 update which should remedy and introduce the bug fixes that were contained in the buggy update.
