If you haven’t played the excellent series borderlands in the generation, there will be a new chance: the 2K Games and the gearbox software announced Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for next generation consoles!

The compilation will feature the two most recent games in the franchise — Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 2 — with all its add-on content and DLCs, but leaves out the first game in the series.

The improvements go beyond the visual upgrade: now we’ll have an unprecedented Local multiplayer mode for 4 players in split screen and the possibility for the player to export their save from the old generation to the new one, carrying their advancement, their stats and their arsenal with you.

Check out the trailer for the compilation below:

But that’s not all: whoever has bullets in their needles (read money in their pockets) can purchase the collection in its special edition, the Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Claptrap-in-a-Box Edition, which brings nothing less than a remote control claptrap!

The little robot is controllable by an app, speaks some classic phrases of the character, and its “eye” is a camera, which can transmit videos to the tablet/smartphone that controls it.

Check out the nice “toy” in action below:

In addition to the little robot, the Claptrap-in-a-Box Edition it also features an exclusive metal case and 12 exclusive cards for the main characters of the series. All this inside one of the famous chests typical of the game.

The game’s beautiful cover art has also been released, check it out:

Oh, and if you are interested in the collector’s edition, stay tuned, as they will only be marketed 5 thousand units her, for the trifle of 399 dollars.
