Brand New Pokemon Trading Card Game Collection Celebrations

In celebration of Pokémon’s 25th anniversary, The Pokémon Company International has announced the eagerly anticipated Pokémon Trading Card Game Collection, Celebrations. This collection includes beloved characters from the Pokémon series and popular cards and game mechanics from the history of the Pokémon TCG. With nine different products, Celebrations will have something for everyone when the expansion launches on October 8, 2021 at participating stores worldwide.

“The Pokémon Trading Card Game has always been an iconic pillar of the Pokémon brand. So it’s great to see the community continues to grow and whole families and groups of friends are enjoying the Pokémon TCG so much,” said Barry Sams, Vice President of the Pokémon Trading Card Game at The Pokémon Company International. “We look forward to celebrating this milestone with a new collection of products that will delight Trainers of all skill levels and ages as we celebrate 25 years of Pokémon.”

Each Celebrations booster pack contains four unique cards – each in holographic form and featuring the 25th anniversary logo – featuring characters from all regions of the Pokémon world, from Pikachu to Zamazenta, and familiar faces such as Professor Oak. In addition, Celebrations is introducing a special 25-card subset that is an accurate remake of iconic cards from Pokémon TCG history, including Base Set Charizard, Umbreon ☆, and Tapu Lele-GX.

The complete Celebrations collection looks like this, with many promo cards that combine recently discovered Pokémon and popular forms from previous Pokémon TCG sets, such as Light Pokémon, Delta Species (δ) Pokémon, and Pokémon Star.
