Chasm receives its release date after six years of development
The developer Bit Kid Inc. first started working on chasma procedurally generated Metroidvania game, in 2012. Now, Six years later, the studio has announced that Chasm will finally be available on July 31 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and PC..
A different epic adventure for each player
Chasm follows a Guildean Kingdom’s new army recruit on his first mission: investigate a major mine that has been mysteriously abandoned and closed. This lands on a long journey where players will visit a large number of hand drawn and procedurally generated roomswhether ancient catacombs or castles.
According to the developers, the game will include more than 80 enemies, 10 bosses, 130 equippable items and should last between ten and fifteen hours.
We started developing Chasm 6 years ago and put everything we had into it. Thanks to the support and patience of our wonderful Kickstarter backers and our families, we’ve been able to achieve my original vision for the game without compromise. I’m so excited to finally share it with the world.
The PS4 and PS Vita versions of the game will include cross-buy, which means that those who buy the PS Vita version will get the PS4 version for free, and vice versa. On all platforms, Chasm will be priced at €19.99.
