CyanogenMod announced that the first nightly builds of the CyanogenMod 13, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, are now available for download. Being of the nightly build early versions of the CyanogenMod 13 they will obviously be unstable and may have some bugs that could prevent daily use.

The most stable versions will be the ones named Snapshot, which will be tested in such a way as to ensure a certain stability.

The first versions of this new version of the CyanogenMod will be available for the following terminals:

  • OnePlus One
  • Nexus 7
  • LG G4
  • Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4
  • LG GPad 7.0
  • LG G3 Verizon
  • Moto X 2014

CyanogenMod has specified a few things in case you want to try the new nightly versions. First of all it is recommended, in case you want to perform a “dirty flash”Of your device (therefore not using the“ Wipe Data / Factory Reset “option), you will have to to update third party add-ons at the same time.

If you are using a Rom based on CyanogenMod 13 instead, a full-wipe before installing the nightly. Finally, CyanogenMod advises users that they run on their terminals CM 12.1 YOG4P or CM 12.1 YOG7D to forgo the installation of new versions nightly and to wait directly for the Snapshots to be released.

The list of devices on which the CyanogenMod 13 it will expand very quickly shortly thereafter so don’t be disheartened if you don’t see your terminal in the current list, be patient!
