If you bought a Motorola Moto G2 from Aldi before July 30, 2015, you should stop using the power supply and have it replaced. There is a risk of overheating.

Aldi and Medion have started a recall campaign. It’s about the power supply of the Motorola Moto G2. There is a risk of the power supply units overheating. Affected are the models that have been sold in the Aldi-Nord branches since February 26th and at Aldi-Süd since May 7th. The smartphone and power supply units that have been on sale at Aldi-Nord since July 30th and at Aldi-Süd since August 22nd are not affected by the problem.

If you have a Motorola Moto G2 with the defective power supply unit, you should stop using the charger immediately and contact Medion immediately. In order to initiate a change of the power supply unit, you can either contact Medion by e-mail or contact the following free telephone number:

Mon-Fri: 7 am-11 pm
Saturday, Sunday & public holidays: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The power supply unit will then be replaced free of charge and without presenting the receipt.
