Daedalic Entertainment released Deponia today for the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One consoles. The humorous point-and-click adventure game originally made its debut on PC in 2012, and in the following years it was released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and mobile devices with iOS.

However, this is not the end. Also today, Deponia Collection, a set of four titles from the series, is making its debut on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The original Deponia that started the series is a fun adventure game with a love story in the background. The plot is set in a unique universe, inspired by the works of Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett and Matt Groening. The main character, Rufus, a rogue and a playboy, lives a rather poor life surrounded by mountains of waste that cover the eponymous planet Deponia. Rufus’s only dream is to live among the rich in a flying city above Deponia. However, fate smiles at Rufus and puts in his way a beautiful young woman named Goal, who falls from one of the sky cities straight to the garbage heap.
