Doom 3 BFG Edition announcement

Doom 3 BFG Edition announcement

Doom 3 in today’s robe, complete with the first two parts.

Bethesda Softworks has announced that it will be revamping the Doom III, originally released in 2004. The Doom 3 BFG Edition package contents a Doom III in addition to its supplement, the Resurrection of Evilas well as the original Doom and Doom II. The announcement reveals that Doom III and its add-on will receive a graphics implementation that meets today’s expectations, 3D support, 5.1 sound, and an improved checkpoint system. In addition, the flashlight that was criticized by many at the time (but also praised by at least that many people) will also be attached to the armor, so from now on we won’t have to shoot in the dark. So far, the news has not been about whether they will change anything in the first two parts or put them in their original form. Another interesting fact is that for the first time in the history of the series, in addition to the PC and Xbox 360 appearance, the game will also be made for PlayStation 3. There is no exact release date yet, but the package is scheduled to be released sometime this fall.
