DOOM Eternal – unleash the demon!

Of course, the game announced at E3 is also out on QuakeCon 2018.

At this year’s E3, the upcoming DOOM was unveiled at the Bethesda show, breaking with the numbering tradition of DOOM Eternal was given the title. Then we were only shown a brief taste, and the promise was made: and then the game will be presented in more detail at QuakeCon 2018.

Well, that show has arrived, and Bethesda has kept its word. DOOM Eternal promises to cut a lot more and more varied monster cavalcade into our faces than the previous game. To cope with long-known creatures (like Arachnotron, Pain Elemental, or Archvile) and new monsters, we too will need a new arsenal and abilities. We get all kinds of weapons, expandable blades, body-mounted flamethrowers, rifles turbocharged with meat hooks and the like. There will also be armor, but if all the ropes are torn, we can simply jump aside from a monster throwing at us. In addition, the damage to demons and other creatures is reportedly completely restored.

Even the most interesting innovation can be related to enemy creatures. In DOOM Eternal, we will also have the opportunity to take on the shape of a monster and jump into another player’s campaign to make his life bitter. But others can do the same to us. And if we really want to sweat someone, we can tell our buddies to pull a small monster gang together and jump around that person’s neck.

DOOM Eternal has no release date yet, all that is certain is that it will be ready for Nintendo Switch in addition to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Until Bethesda makes a separate preview available, check out the cut-out section from 1:09:10 on the full show!
