F1 2021 is now available
Codemasters and Electronic Arts Inc. welcome players to the world of Formula 1 in F1 2021, now available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The latest installment in the much-loved F1 gaming franchise features the teams, drivers and circuits from the 2021 FIA Formula One World Championship and introduces a brand new story mode, an expanded career mode with the option to play with two players and three new circuits: Portimão, Imola and Jeddah which will be available for free to all players as post-launch content.
Ahead of the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix, which takes place this weekend (July 18), Codemasters has unveiled new gameplay footage – captured on an Xbox Series X – to get viewers warm to the challenging Silverstone Circuit. The images can be viewed here.
In the new story mode, called Braking Point, players experience the world of F1, as they race their way up from Formula 2 to glorious Formula 1. In this story-driven mode, they experience real-life team dynamics and drama. with other drivers on the track. The expanded career mode introduces a two-player option with both an option to play together online or from the couch. They can also each choose a rival team and race against each other in a synchronous session. The career mode also uses Real-Season Start. This allows players to start their career from any race already run in the current World Championship. This mode takes into account the current championship standings.

Next-gen consoles take F1 2021 to the next level, including improved on-track models, textures and improved models of the cars and tire damage. Performance Mode allows players to play the game at a frame rate above 60fps on compatible hardware. In addition, players on next-gen consoles will experience significantly reduced loading times.
The Deluxe Edition of the game includes seven iconic F1 drivers to use in My Team, as well as exclusive customization content, 18,000 PitCoins and the Braking Point Content Pack.
