Year 2038, A very advanced alien race has occupied the planet earth and the human race is at a turning point. The fate of our species depends on DevTech Labs and their top secret program called HYPERGUN. The greatest simulation ever created by man to design the ultimate weapon against the alien species.
Under the oppression of this mysterious alien race, humans will have to face a deadly simulation whose sole purpose is to create the most advanced weapon ever made. In this way we can save the world and humanity, not only between waves of enemies and spectacular lights, but also with sense of humor.
Independent Canadian developer NVYVE Studios (@NVYVEStudios) brings us this shooter that promises to be frenetic, difficult, and fun in equal measure. HYPERGUN is a shooter with literally hundreds of mods and modules available for our weapon, as well as procedurally generated scenarios.
the ultimate weapon
The weapon has the ability to combine hundreds of elements that will add to and alter our firearm, from flamethrowers or lasers to 90s 3D glasses and party hats. In this way, the work of the HYPERGUN project is to create the definitive weapon –although of questionable efficiency–. Dewey Owens, a DevTech Labs worker, will have the job of breaking into DevTech Labs for a weekend to experiment countless simulations inside the laboratories. This will be the only way to upgrade your weapon.
All this represented with a show of lights, flashes and colors that will make your room a strobe beacon. The fights against the enemies and the final bosses of each simulation promise to be frenetic and spectacular. HYPERGUN doesn’t beat around the bush. Will you be prepared?
procedural levels
Each level, each simulation, each scenario and each situation will be generated randomly. That is, the same simulation it won’t be twice the samethus making the game have an unlimited variety of maps, situations and fun.
But also the difficulty will be affected because of this randomness, so proceed carefully and measure your steps. The game promises to test our patience with a excessive difficulty.

The game is coming to Xbox One and PS4 next fall, no date confirmed yet. But it can already be played on Steam and GOG at a price of €14.99 RRP. It will probably be the same price for the consoles, although we can’t confirm that.
What we can confirm is that the game will arrive completely translated into Spanish. As well as the possibility of playing in French, German, English, Italian or Russian. The latter is confirmed by NVYVE Studios itself.
