Just a few weeks ago the director of God of War was discussing the possibility of add a photo mode to the game upon release. Today, just on the day of its departure, Sony has officially confirmed this modality. The news was revealed during the game’s live launch broadcast.

Photo mode in God of War

Photo mode will come with a future update to God of War. Although a specific release date has not yet been announced, Sony has already shown us a small preview of the options that we will have at our disposal.

In God of War photo mode we have many options to play with, such as turning characters on and off for long shots, or even changing facial expressions for both Kratos and his son Atreus. It is definitely something that we are going to spend many hours on to take the perfect picture, or simply to enjoy the great graphics that the game offers.

Below you can take a look at the photo mode in action. If you wish, you can also read what we think about this epic game at our analysis.

God of War was officially released today, April 20, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
