Google buys Nest, now the father of the iPod will work in Mountain View

Google has confirmed, through a press release, that it has acquired Nest Labs, the company created by the father of the iPod, Tony Fadell.

According to initial reports, the Mountain View giant bought Nest for about $ 3.2 billion. According to Big G, Fadell will become a Google employee while continuing to manage Nest. The purchase of the company has a double value, as Google was working on a smart thermostat, very similar to the one introduced by Nest, and also the team of the company was made up of many former Apple employees.

Google will therefore be able to use Nest technologies for its products and take advantage of the professionalism and experience of many former Apple employees, including Fadell.
