Google Recorder – V3.5 with Quick Settings tile
In October there was already a redesign of the Google Recorder on Material You. Now there is another update with design improvements and a quick settings tile.
Google Recorder – Update brings improvements
The changes of the Google Recorder can mainly be found in the user interface. The Play/Pause button has changed from a rounded rectangle to a circle surrounded by two buttons to rewind the recording 5 seconds or skip 10 seconds. These buttons are larger than before.
The toggle between audio and transcription is now pill-shaped too. The editing functions Cut, Magnifier, 3 points with parts, Rename, Delete are now separated from the play area and have the same background as the bottom bar.
The changes can also be found in the live recordings. The Pause/Resume button is slightly narrower.
Furthermore, the recorder with version 3.5 gets a quick setting tile for quick access to start, stop and save a recording.
Version 3.5.430636922 (compared to 3.0.4x) of Recorder is now being rolled out to Pixel phones via the Play Store.
