With televisions for life, if you wanted sculpt a live tv software I needed a DVD recorder or VHS tapes. Today with the advent of Smart TV, the entire printing process has been greatly simplified and now all that is required is a flash drive or a foreign hard drive to accumulate the video and play it whenever we want.
If we do not have Smart TV we can even use the typical decoders that some telemarketers usually provide when we hire a TV + Internet plan. These decoders usually have an internal storage squad, so we can even use them to sculpt any content that we have not been able to see live.
TV apps on demand
Yesterday of appearing remember that if you have a Smart TV there are already many apps that offer content on demand. If you missed your privileged Telecinco software you can use the My TV application to watch the most recent programs that have already been broadcast by the unit. The same happens with Spanish Television and its streaming app RTVE Play, as well as with the rest of the channels that broadcast the expedited ventilation.

The only drawback that decoders have is that they normally increase the price of the monthly fee that we have contracted with our surgeon, so before running short we must assess whether we are really going to use it or not.
How to sculpt TV shows on a Smart TV
If you have a smart TV and a good bunch of USB flash drives, sculpting programs is a piece of cake. The printing process will be different depending on the brand and model of our Smart TV, although they all work more or less the same.
Sony: live or scheduled printing
Sony Smart TVs, such as the Bravia models, use the Android TV interface. The printing system is very honest and simple, but we must take into account a couple of details:
- Get into a USB platoon of at least 32 GB. Otherwise, Sony will not accept it as a valid print squad.
- Plug the USB platoon into the port labeled “RECORDING ON USB HARD DISK”. This port is usually located on the back of the TV, adjacent to the HDMI connection ports. If we do not connect the flash drive or hard drive to this port, the TV will not be able to configure it as a print squad.
- When the TV detects the USB platoon, it will show us several options. Choose “Sign up to sculpt”. Once registered as a printing squad, all programs will be stored on this USB stick.
- From here, when you want to sculpt a piece of software, simply click on the print pin that you will see on the remote. To stop printing, click the “Exit” pin.
If you’re having trouble with the USB setup, you can even try it by opening the TV’s setup menu and entering “Watch TV -> Print Device Setup”.
If we want to program the printing We can also do it from the “Cicerone” menu. Find the show you want to watch that will air in a few hours and click on it. Select the “Scheduled Tape” option.
Program tape on a Samsung TV
As we said a little higher up, all modern TVs have a very similar printing process. For Samsung TVs, click the “Cicerone” pin on the remote to accept today’s schedule.
- Look for the software by the time and channel that is broadcast.
- Click on it and among the available options select “Print”.
- Alternatively, you can even press the red “REC” jack you’ll see on the remote to start sculpting what’s currently on the screen.
We can do this with programs, series or movies that are currently being broadcast, but it can even be used to make scheduled recordings.
- Enter the advisor and choose the software you want to sculpt.
- Hold down the Enter pin for a moment until a pop-up window appears. Select “Schedule Printing”.
The only thing we have to worry about is having a foreign hard drive connected to the TV’s USB port. According to the manufacturer’s recommendation, the USB platoon must have a speed of at least 5400 rpm.
LG Smart TVs
LG is one of the Smart TV manufacturers with products that stand out for their great value for money. This has made their televisions truly popular and, of course, among their functions there is even the possibility of sculpting our favorite software, series or soap opera.
- Make sure to connect a hard drive or USB stick to the TV. usb platoon must not have a capacity greater than 2 TB.
- Press the center pin of the remote control and select “OK”.
- In the lower left area you will see a red pin: click on this pin to see the different printing options.
- Choose the duration of the print and other options such as the storage device. When you’re all set, just click “Print.”
If at any time we want to stop or finish printing, we just have to click on the Magic Control pin on the wheel or use the “OK” pin on the conventional remote control. From there we can pause the playback, save it, settle the print or even change the end time.
