Hutchinson explains how he would improve the gameplay of Assassin’s Creed III

If we look back, the first big blow to the otherwise successful Assassin’s Creed franchise happened with the third installment, a Assassin’s Creed III which moved away from Renaissance Italy after several installments to offer an open world and a new protagonist, Connor.

The game was highly criticized, although Ubisoft knew how to turn the wheel and was very successful with Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. And why are we talking about Assassin’s Creed III now?

How to improve Assassin’s Creed III in its remastering

Because, as we tell you in this news, one of the contents of the Season Pass of the next Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will include precisely this third installment remasteredto which the French company will apply not only graphic or resolution improvements, but also small playable adjustments.

The creative director of the game at the time, Alex Hutchinson, talked about what he, today, would really change if he could. The creative no longer works at Ubisoft but the French company may have had his opinion for some of those changes.

Several of those changes directly affect the structure of the game and it is very difficult for Ubisoft to apply them in the remaster, and it eluded classic rhythm problems. You can read the thread below:
