Instagram Update: Added five new filters

After two years of “calm” in adding new filters to photos, a Instagram Update. The launch of Mayfair and Willow in December 2012 was the last, but now the app has a makeover.

The new Instagram Update saw, in fact, the addition of the Crema, Slumber, Ludwig, Aden and Perpetua filters, which raises the total number of effects that can be applied to images to 24. Both Android and iOS users will be able to today to have these novelties available which, according to the manufacturer, are even the best filters included in the entire history of the application. But let’s see in detail what the new filters bring.

• Slumber: allows you to de-saturate the image in order to give it a slightly “retro” and almost “dreamlike” look, with a particular emphasis on black and blue colors.
• Cream: as the name suggests, in this case a “creamy” look is added that allows you to warm up the colors.
• Ludwig: a minimalist look with a hint of color de-saturation. In addition, it allows you to emphasize the light.
• Perpetual: This filter was inspired by the Cape Perpetua found in Oregon and gives images a natural blue and green look.
• Aden: Ideal for portraits, gives you a pastel look.
• These are, therefore, the innovations made thanks to the latest Instagram Update which will also allow you to reorganize your filters. In fact, those most used by the user can be placed on the main page of the application so that they can be easily found.

This Instagram Update is available for iOS versions 6.4.0 and for Android versions 6.12.0.
