It’s finally here. In an event that has been held this afternoon, Apple has presented the largest of its phones, the iPhone 6 Plus. As usual in the brand of the bitten apple, during the presentation not all specifications mentioned of the new terminal, but enough so that we can face it with the new Samsung phablet and see what is good about each one, so let’s go there.

As far as design is concerned, everything is a matter of taste, but what is undeniable is that iPhones have one of the best in the world of telephony. With a very reduced thickness and their metallic bodies, they have a very recognizable look, along with Samsung, a company that has also been following the same line in the terminals presented in recent years.
The first thing that stands out in this new generation of iPhone is that edges have been rounded to make them a little easier on the eye and easier to hold. Apart from this, the terminal does not have too many changes compared to the rest of the versions presented previously.
For its part, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has recovered a little the spirit of the great Samsung Galaxy S II, with forms that remind us a lot of said terminal. In addition, also metal frame has been used that we saw for the first time in the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, a detail that gives it a somewhat more premium finish than its previous versions, but that falls short of the possibility that the body was finally entirely in aluminium.
A detail that we see in both terminals is that It has been sought to facilitate ergonomics and use, since both have the unlock button on the right side. With such large screens, placing it at the top would have been a mistake, since it would make it difficult to access and at the same time it would be making it easy to slip of the hands
In this section it goes without saying that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be the winner, At least when it comes to power. While within the Android family, manufacturers strive to use the latest technology and present terminals that do almost the same things as a computer, Apple is satisfied that the phone has the right and necessary power.
It is well known that most of the time we won’t be using all four or eight cores of a high-end Android terminal, but even so, users are not satisfied with this and want to see more. In this generation of iPhone, we see how the situation is completely different and, far from being a mistake or a disappointment, The iPhone 6 Plus will mount a 64-bit dual-core Apple A8 processor with features very similar to those of the iPhone 5s, but with better energy use.
As always, the secrecy in terms of specifications makes it complicated to compare the hardware of both terminals, although both philosophies can be valued. Samsung seeks to have the most powerful phone while having a good balance with the batterywhile Apple is content not to have things like multitasking as developed, in order to achieve a much greater autonomy and a smaller thickness of the terminal.
Without a doubt, two very different terminals focused on two audiences that are also looking for different things. In the design section, the most important aspect is the increase in size that the Apple phone has experienced, while we see how the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 follows the line of its previous versions. On the other hand, the hardware is the aspect where both devices are farthest apart, something that we have already become accustomed to over the years.
We know that it will most likely never happen, but what would you think of seeing the same iPhone presented today running under Android? With a dual core processor, we’d consider it older than the HTC Dream.
