Lisa Jackson talks about Apple’s environmental initiatives, expecting great results
Lisa Jackson, who joined Apple in June last year to oversee environmental issues, gave an interview to Fortune this week.
The main topic of the interview, of course, could only be environmental protection; Jackson says she is very satisfied with the results that Apple is obtaining and also talks about future projects, Apple intends to safeguard the environment even more. The main goal, which is a challenge, is to be able to reach 100% renewable energy. Apple has already announced that it has achieved 100% renewable energy in its corporate facilities and 94% through its data centers. Currently about 120 of its retail stores in the United States are powered by renewable energy.
