Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2 Games Pulled From Digital Stores

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2 Games Pulled From Digital Stores

Earlier in the week, the folks at ResetEra began predicting that the two games of Marvel Ultimate Alliance they would be pulled from digital stores due to the expiration of Activision’s licenses.

Two digitally withdrawn games due to licensing

And precisely this has turned out to be totally true and now both Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 have been removed from Steam, PlayStation Store and Xbox Marketplace two years after arriving on each current generation platform.

If the warning had come with a little more time we could have gotten the game before its withdrawal. Now the only thing left is to get a physical copy.

This is not the first time this has happened with the digital versions of some Activision games. Deadpool was also pulled from the charts in the past but came back. Perhaps this also happens with the Ultimate Alliance games but it is better not to get your hopes up.

Who knows, maybe the new Avengers games that Square Enix is preparing can make us forget this bad experience and surprise us with new adventures of Marvel superheroes.
