Meet Deathground, a new co-op survival horror set in a world of dinosaurs
Dino Crisis is the absolute classic when it comes to Survivor Horror with Dinosaurs, so much so that a group of fans is doing an unofficial remake of the first game in the series, in addition to the Capcom have registered the brand recently. But here comes another very promising title with the same theme: Deathground!
deathground is being created by Jaw Drop Games, and is looking for support in the kickstarter to come true. In the game, one to three players are sent to a dangerous location called “Deathground”, with the mission to retrieve something from this location and then proceed to the extraction point. The problem is, this place is infested with dangerous dinosaurs!
Check out the latest trailer for the game, which features its gameplay, with a focus on stealth, after all, if any dinosaur sees you, it won’t be cool:
The targets to be rescued, extraction points and entry points will be randomized for each match. And the dinosaurs will adapt to the players’ actions, making everything even more dangerous. The focus of the game will be to go unnoticed by prehistoric creatures, with the trailer even showing a radar-style Alien Isolation to track the creatures. However, the game will have firearms, but with very scarce ammunition, besides the noise of the weapons will attract the dinosaurs to their position.
And below you can check out the game’s announcement trailer, showing the dinosaurs in more detail:
Sounds very promising doesn’t it? The game is close to reaching its goal in kickstarter, and I still have 21 days until the end of the campaign. So if you want to contribute to the creation of the game, go to its page on Kickstarter. deathground will be released in Early Access mode in 2021, being released in its full version in 2022 at Steam.
