Criterion Games, in collaboration with Stellar Entertainment, will once again bring players the thrill of chases and breakouts in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered. The refreshed version of the iconic racing debuts today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and on November 13 it will hit the Nintendo Switch.

The game received improved visuals and asynchronous cross-play competition. All thanks to Autolog – a revolutionary feature that allows players to connect and compete with friends seamlessly. The remaster also includes all the major DLCs for an extra six hours of gameplay and over 30 challenges, alluding to Criterion Games’ highly acclaimed debut, which won the Best Racing Game Awards in 2010 and The British Academy Video Games Award for Multiplayer Mode in 2011 .

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit when it was released in 2010 was ahead of its time thanks to the automatic system of comparing and recommending friends in the game before such things became the norm. We’re excited to bring that spirit of timeless racing competition to current devices so players can connect and compete no matter what platform they have – even on the go on Nintendo Switch.
