New Gameplay Trailer and Map Updates from Apex Legends: Legacy
Apex Legends: Legacy will be released on May 4 with a new permanent 3v3 mode, the flying Legend Valkyrie, a new weapon, map updates and much more. In preparation for battle, Respawn Entertainment has released a gameplay trailer featuring all of the soon-to-be-anticipated action in Apex Legends: Legacy – now on display here.
An overview of all the new content in Apex Legends: Legacy:
- New 3v3 Mode – Arenas: In Arenas, players can hone their skills within the tight confines of new and rotating maps, such as Party Crasher and Phase Runner. Each round, whether winning or losing, teams can leverage their strengths as they pick new gear; players can also earn and spend Crafting Materials to increase their chances between rounds. In addition, Arenas feature special events and prizes, and players can earn Battle Pass levels.
- New Legend – Valkyrie: With a jetpack forged from the remains of Viper’s Northstar Titan, Valkyrie can temporarily soar above the battlefield. When it’s time to kill the enemy, she can fire a swarm of missiles to harass and disorient her enemy. If the ground gets too hot under her feet, Valkyrie can easily take off quickly with her Ultimate, possibly with all her squadmates if they come along. This new entrant to the Apex Games has something to prove.
- New Weapon – The Bocek Bow: The new Bocek Bow is a powerful and deadly weapon that can deal a lot of damage if you know how to use it properly. Players must take well-timed shots to make them count, and they must charge the shots to get the most out of the arc and generate maximum impact. The Bocek Bow is not an ancient relic. Players can increase effectiveness with two hop-up slots: the Deadeye’s Tempo (which allows you to draw arrows faster if you fire at perfect tempo) and Shatter Caps (which explode arrows after firing to spread like a shot of hail).
- Map updates Olympus: Interesting things are about to happen in Olympus, as an unhinged ship has docked on the map, containing a sticky, parasitic plant of unknown origin. The Plague offers new drop locations, altered fields of view and much more in this aerial Arena.
Apex Legends: Legacy will also introduce a new Battle Pass with unique rewards such as Apex Packs, XP Boosts, and tons of new weapon and Legend skins when released on May 4 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Origin and Steam.
