Since its official launch in 2013, The Last of Us there were already plenty of claims that it would be an instant classic thanks to its incredible sense of storytelling and judicious, impactful gameplay. And now, five years after its launch, Naughty Dog has revealed the number of success that he has had ever since.

From the studio’s official Twitter account, Naughty Dog has revealed that as of April 2018, The Last of Us has sold over 17 million copies worldwide.

Of course, this includes the copies sold for PlayStation 3 in its original release and in its remastered version for PS4, released a year later.

Second part on the way

Given the remarkable success of this game, it was not a surprise to discover that it would have a sequel. In fact, The Last of Us Part II is currently one of the most anticipated gamesand the last thing we have seen of him has been a spectacular gameplay at E3 2018 in addition to a multitude of details.
