Parallel Access makes its entrance on Android with a two-week free trial

The beautiful thing about the world of smartphones is the amount of applications that there are for anything. One of the functions that I particularly like the most is mirroring and screen sharing, for which we have applications like Chrome Remote Desktop or Splashtop, which we have already talked about on occasion, although the arrival of new applications is always something that interests us.

Parallel Access, one of the most famous iOS applications for mirroring and remote access to our computer, just landed on android so that we can also use this service from our favorite operating system, although it brings a small trap that we will comment on at the end. First of all, we are going to see what Parallel Access consists of.

Thanks to Parallel Access we can access our computer and use its applications as if they were native applications of our Android phone, so we can browse our hard drive, search for files, edit documents, whatever we want. This function complements perfectly with the speed of navigation that this application offers us, and it is that they affirm that the application runs smoothly even on slow 3G networks, and that is another point in favor, since it is not necessary to be connected to the same Wi-Fi as our computer.

Through Parallel Access we can remotely access our PC or Mac already all our stored files in these as long as our computer is turned on –since it acts as a server–. The app was only available for iOS, but like many other apps, such as 1Password or Mailbox, developers have been released to the Android platform in view of the potential of this market.

The app can be downloaded as totally free on Google Play, but here comes the trap that I was talking about at the beginning of the article, and that is that we will have a two-week free trial after which, if we want to continue using the service, we will have to pay 15 euros annually, which will also allow us to connect up to 5 different computers, although, if we are a company, they offer us a special rate to connect more computers.

The app can be used on any device with Android 4.0.3 or higher, has a weight of 14 MB and already has more than 1000 downloads, in addition to a 4.4 star rating, so we can always try the free trial and, if we like it, pay the subscription.

What do you think of this application? Did you know her?
