Two new Pokemon applications for Nintendo 3DS will be released soon, which together will perfectly complement the already announced Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2 for the Nintendo DS family of systems. Pokedex 3D Pro and Pokemon Dream Radar are coming to Nintendo 3DS this fall, offering players new ways to catch and get to know their favorite Pokemon.
Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2 bring players back to the Unova region, two years after the events of Pokemon Black Version and Pokemon White Version. Players familiar with Pokemon Black Version and Pokemon White Version will immediately notice that the Unova region has changed significantly in the new games. Set out from the new town of Aspertia City for an all-new adventure and discover the strange events that have changed the Unova region two years after Team Plasma’s defeat.
Players can also look forward to two new Legendary Pokemon, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, featured on the games’ covers. These powerful Legendary Pokemon can use both destructive Ice-type actions; Black Kyurem knows Freeze Shock and White Kyurem is ready to battle Ice Burn. Black Kyurem is available exclusively in Pokemon Black Version 2, while White Kyurem is only available in Pokemon White Version 2. The games are developed for the Nintendo DS systems and can also be played in 2D on the Nintendo 3DS.
For Pokemon fans, 2012 will be a great year as they can look forward not only to the sequel to one of the greatest Pokemon adventures ever, but also to two new applications that will work perfectly with PokemonBlack Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2 and the experience of those games on the Nintendo 3DS.
Pokemon Dream Radar lets players take advantage of various features of the Nintendo 3DS system, including the Nintendo 3DS camera, motion control and augmented reality. This makes it possible to find hidden Pokemon in your environment by moving the Nintendo 3DS system and catching them with laser beams. The Pokemon that players have caught in Pokemon Dream Radar can be moved to Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2, allowing players to quickly expand their collection of Pokemon. Pokemon Dream Radar also includes some hard-to-find Pokemon, giving players extra motivation to catch them for their game. Pokemon Dream Radar will be available as a paid download from Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS.
Pokedex 3D Pro is the fully upgraded and expanded version of the original Pokedex 3D, with detailed information about all 600+ Pokemon that have appeared in Pokemon video game history. Pokedex 3D Pro provides in-depth capabilities to sort, compare, and highlight Pokemon, as well as all the details about the skills each Pokemon can learn, and how it can evolve. The application also includes extensive augmented reality features, including the ability to take pictures of Pokemon in the real world. With Pokedex 3D Pro, all Pokemon are unlocked from the start, providing players with an instant wealth of information that is sure to help them progress through Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2.
