A few days ago we finally knew the release date of one of the most anticipated games of the entire generation and certainly this 2018. Red Dead Redemption 2 will be in stores October 26th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Despite having accompanied the announcement of the date with new images, Rockstar has not yet offered much information about the sandbox, but thanks to a TrustedReviews leak we have learned lots of new detailswhich are still rumors but seem to have a lot of truth because they are accompanied by unpublished images.
The curious thing about the leak is that it was received in August 2017, but until now the portal had not made it public, once assured by the latest images published by the study that they were completely true.
A campaign with a lot to do
As in the first, we will have a large map to move on foot or on horseback, although this time theThe trains will take on great importance to move from end to end, and they will have a good number of passengers with whom to interrelate, obtain missions, trade and others.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will feature Ridgewood or Armadillo such as locations, large cities full of characters, markets where you can buy equipment or rooms where you can bet on poker. Also outside of them we will have things to do, like hunting to sell the skins, participate in equestrian challenges with the horse or even fish.
The gameplay will remain very similar to the original, with a slow-motion aiming mode called Eagle Eye. There is also talk of two characters in the document, the main protagonist Arthur Morgan, corroborated with official Rockstar images, and Dutch Van Der Lindethe leader of the Dutch Gang.
Also mentioned random events, changes in the story depending on how we solve some missions and the possibility of interrogating wounded enemies who will give us information in exchange for saving their lives.
Red Dead Online
And in case anyone doubted it, Rockstar will repeat the experience of GTA Online that so many benefits have brought him with Red Dead Redemption 2. According to the leak, the same open world of the campaign can be enjoyed cooperatively and will even allow us to buy our properties.
It would have a strong social component and a mobile app and tablets that would offer us, among other things, poker mini-games with which we suppose money would be obtained for the game. There will also be plenty of rewards for completing certain tasks, such as shooting down an enemy from over 100 meters away.
It speaks of three modalities, one style battle royale very fashionable in successful titles like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or Fortnite, another call Revive & Survive with two teams facing each other and the possibility of reviving fallen allies in a limited time, and MoneyGrabwhich would be the classic Capture the Flag with bags of gold to collect from a point and take to our base as soon as possible.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will arrive on October 26 and at Sonyers we will be very attentive to any information, official or unofficial, that comes out about this popular and long-awaited sandbox.
