Spotify lands in Italy on the occasion of Sanremo

After years of diatribes with record companies, Spotify also landed in Italy, on the occasion of the Sanremo 2013 festival.

The best known music streaming service in the world is already available in our country today and from tomorrow it will sponsor the Sanremo festival, offering all the tracks in the competition and exclusive contents.

Spotify will undermine the supremacy of iTunes (waiting for Apple to release a similar service) and other similar services such as Deezer. In addition, other giants of music streaming could soon land in the boot, including Rdio and Pandora.

It is possible to register on Spotify through Facebook or by creating a new account, obtaining a Spotify Free account (48 hours of listening per month) or by signing up for a Spotify Unlimited or Premium subscription.

There is an official Spotify application for both iOS and OS X. To use Spotify on iDevice you will need a Premium account (€ 9.99 per month).
