Suda51 and Swery65 will create a horror game together, and perhaps with help from the creator of Silent Hill
Sudan 51, creator of No More Heroes, and Swery65, creator of Deadly Premonition, will team up to create a new horror game. And if this union wasn’t unexpected enough, then know that the creator of silent Hill can also embark on the project!
The duo announced their new project on a livestream, confirming only the game’s name: Hotel Barcelona, commenting that the great inspiration for the creation of the game is the horror series Siren. The game will have a budget of 1 million dollars, but it will not be produced as a AAA, but rather as an independent creation.
And speaking of Siren, the livestream had a very interesting moment. the creator of Siren It’s Keichiro Toyama, who is also the creator of silent Hill, who is a friend of Sudan 51 and Swery65. During the broadcast, both started to talk and decided to send messages to Toyama calling him to participate in the project. And in the end, he replied, saying that let’s participate!
Below you can check out this hilarious scene:

The game will possibly be published by Return Digital, although not even the Give back get the situation right. For now the game is in the planning stage and only in the future will we know more about it. The only thing we know is that probably Hotel Barcelona will have a gameplay similar to Siren, a series that, despite not being as popular as resident Evil and silent Hill, could cause really intense scares.
