Summary of Sony’s conference at E3 2018

The most awaited moment arrived Sony’s E3 conference It has made us get up early to discover the next games of the Japanese company, the great games that will be released on our PlayStation 4 in the coming months.

The city of Los Angeles has put on a gala to receive the greatest, Hideo Kojima, Neil Druckmann, Gustavo Santaolalla… familiar faces that have given luster to a conference of which we bring you a summary so that you do not lose any detail.

This was the Sony conference at E3 2018

It is important to start strong, and for that there is nothing better than taking us to a room where Gustavo Santaolalla, the famous composer of well-known soundtracks such as Babel or Brokeback Mountain, played some guitar chords to put the music back to The Last of Us: Part II.

The fans were expecting a gameplay and boy have we had it, although before Naughty Dog has surprised us with a cinematic that took place on a level almost traced to the place where the conference was held and left us with an Ellie kissing a girl and remembering some horrible events.

The graphic quality presented has been so impressive that some of those present doubted if we were not facing a PS5 game. You can rewatch the trailer for the game here.

The next game was Ghost of Tsushima, another one from which gameplay was also expected and has left a great taste in the mouth, with a beautiful technical bill, combats with katanas, displacement on horses and duels at sunset with thousands of leaves moving in the wind. We invite you to see it here.

There were also surprises

We have also had room for big surprises, such as the announcement of the remake of Resident Evil 2 (Capcom), which will hit the market on January 25, 2019, offering much more than the original game starring Leon and Claire.

Every detail of Raccoon City has been rebuilt from the ground up with photorealistic graphics that make the zombie horror game look better than ever. You can see it again here.

Surprise has also been to see Control, a supernatural action adventure developed by Remedy and 505Games, which will be released in 2019 and has been very reminiscent of the great Quantum Break, with time and object management and an impressive technical section. Take a look here.

Another pleasant surprise has been Ni-Oh 2, from the prestigious Team Ninja studio, which has offered us a vibrant teaser that left us wanting much more. You can see it again here.

Spider-Man and Death Stranding

The other two big names were Marvel’s Spider-Man of Insomniac Games and the always hype Death Stranding.

From the first we have been able to see a new gameplay in which we could see some of the new super-villains that Peter Parker will have to face, such as Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture or Electro. The title will hit the market on September 7.

For its part, the long-awaited return of Hideo Kojima showed an extensive gameplay in which two new female characters could be discovered, among other novelties.

The thrid party also play

In addition to the aforementioned Control or NioH we have been able to see new content from Kingdom Hearts 3with the great addition of popular characters from the Pirates of the Caribbean universe, in addition to knowing the game’s release date: January 29, 2019.

oh! And the game will be accompanied by a spectacular special edition of PS4 with motifs from the game that you can see here.

For PlayStation VR the offer has been somewhat brief, although with some interesting games such as Trover Saves the Universe or Deracinea title from From Software and Japan Studio directed by Miyazaki (which will come exclusively to the virtual reality device this year), and which proposes a story full of time jumps.
