The refurbished edition should have been released last year, but was instead postponed to March this year. Which has now been pushed again.

Grimlore Games was completed in 2017 Spellforce IIIwhich skillfully blended the genres of fantasy role-playing games and real-time strategy games. The game was then made exclusively for PCs, but the studio announced four years later, last year, that they were already working on the console version, which would be an expanded and refurbished release.

Well, this console version has been waiting for you ever since, which is also interesting because the innovations that it will bring with it arrived on PC as early as last December in the form of an update. Prior to that, the studio announced that unfortunately work on the console would take longer than planned, so the premiere was postponed to March 8, 2022.

And now it turns out that they can’t keep that date either. According to their latest announcement, the game isn’t going where it wants to be yet, so they’ll be postponing the release for a few more months. Thus, Spellforce III Reforced will also be available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, as well as Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One, only on June 7, 2022.

Then, in addition to the base game, we can immediately purchase the Soul Harvest and Fallen Gods add-ons, which promise their own single-person campaign, new units, and roughly an extra thirty hours of playing time. The add-ons will be available separately for the game, but if you want to get the most out of your investment, you can also choose the Spellforce III Reforced Complete Edition. These can already be ordered in the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store.
