Already last week, information about the new assassin game was leaked, but Ubisoft has just released an official announcement about the new game in the series, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flagabout. As you may have read here, a new location and protagonist will be waiting for us: the XVIII. At the beginning of the twentieth century, episode four guides us into the world of pirates. The protagonist is Edward Kenway, an adventurous British young man who moves from the Royal Navy to a pirate captain and soon finds himself in the middle of an ancient battle between assassins and Templars. From the period referred to as the golden age of pirates, we will meet a number of notorious characters, such as the Black Jacket and Charles Vane. Like the parts so far, we will once again have a huge, open world with more than 50 places to visit. We can collect treasures from sunken ships, kill Templars in cities, hunt for rare animals in the jungle, search for valuable artifacts among forgotten ruins, and discover hidden caves. In addition to the usual weapons of assassins, the combat equipment of the age is associated, but the game also values ​​stealth in the same way as face-to-face fights. The shipping that appeared in the previous episode will play a much more central role, and continuous improvement of Jackdaw will also be important. And of course, the competitive and cooperative multiplayer parts aren’t left out of the game either.
The development will be done primarily by the Ubisoft Montreal studio, but will also be assisted by the Ubisoft team in Quebec, Annecy, Bucharest, Sofia and Singapore. Platforms have also been strengthened: Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will arrive on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on October 31, while it will later be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and “other next-generation consoles”. “is. Pickers of the PS3 and PS4 versions will be able to download an extra DLC of up to 60 minutes of play time from PSN for free after its release.
