The Samsung Galaxy Gear was a flop beyond the worst expectations

Presented with great fanfare and announced as an innovative and hugely successful product, the Samsung Galaxy Gear turned out to be an unprecedented flop.

According to various and reliable sources from Korea, Samsung’s new smartwatch sold only 50,000 units !!! Virtually zero when you consider that the product was launched worldwide! Samsung has tried to disprove this data by reporting that in reality, 800,000 units have been shipped, making the Gear the most successful indomitable device. Units shipped though… ..not sold… .there is a big difference and the Galaxy Gear units that have been returned by users are not even taken into consideration, about 30%.

This figure is certainly astounding when you consider that Samsung has invested huge amounts of money to finance the marketing campaigns for this product. Apple has observed for its part this thunderous failure with particular interest certainly, given that it is said that in 2014 the Cupertino company could also release a similar product … Let’s just hope it will be better and more successful
