Low carb refers to a diet in which you consume fewer carbohydrates. With low carb, a maximum of 40 percent of the daily energy intake consists of carbohydrates. We took a look at the weight loss app: Low Carb Recipes & Nutrition Plan.
Weight Loss App: Low Carb Recipes & Nutrition Plan – Foodabi
When you start the app, you indicate whether you want to lose weight, build muscle or maintain your weight. Next, enter your gender, your current weight and your height in cm. It continues with your age and an indication of how often you do sport per week. You also state your daily activity in everyday life, as this is often more important than sport. Finally, you enter a target weight and how quickly you want to lose weight. Warnings are also given here as soon as you want to lose too much weight at once.
If all calculations have been made, you will receive an overview of the calories you need. These goals can be adjusted again at any time.
The app can now be configured individually. This then starts with your favorite color so that you like the app even more. The app then asks which diet you would like to follow. Here are low carb, ketogenic diet, fasting, counting calories or another diet on the list. You can also let the app decide. In the other settings you indicate whether you want quick or easy recipes, or recipes to eat cold, heat up or take away, sweet or salty. Multiple selections are possible here.
Then there is your diet. Omnivores, vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free, lactose-free and other allergens. As an omnivore and non-allergy sufferer, no selection is necessary. You also indicate whether you need tips for losing weight. These will be added to the app free of charge over time.
Based on your previous information, the app calculates your water drinking goal. Here you can now specify whether you want a reminder to drink. You can also choose whether you want to participate in daily routines (10,000 steps, eat a maximum of 30g of sugar). If you have decided on the step goal, you can import data from your smartphone or smartwatch (Huawei and Fitbit) (PRO version). Now you indicate whether you want to choose your own food or need a nutrition plan.
There are now more questions for the nutrition plan, starting with your breakfast, lunch, dinner and daily snacks.
Next, the app recommends a short test about the changed diet. First there is a query for problem areas. Then you state what makes you special and what diets you have already done. Other questions concern losing weight and a change on your part when you reach your target weight. After completing the test, according to your test result, you can now subscribe to Foodabi PRO (you have an extremely high recommendation for it
After the test has ended, you will be given your name and email address. You will receive information and suggestions for using the app by email. You also have a contact person for further questions. However, the registration can also be skipped.
If the extensive registration is now complete, you choose whether you want to view recipes first, read the first weight loss tip or open your day.
The start page is divided into the tabs Recipes, Tips, Your Day and Profile. Each tab has various options at the top of the screen. The recipes are sorted by categories, by favorites, shared member recipes and own recipes.
The recipes can be selected by content. For example, you can show recipes with just ground beef, just chicken breast, just zucchini, and other ingredients. The recipes are divided into Free and Pro. You can call up the free recipes without any problems and use the video to explain how to prepare them. In the recipes you choose how many portions you want to cook. You can also see the nutritional values and the ingredients with nutritional values. There are also other details about the food. You can add the recipes to your favorites by clicking on the heart button. Printing, commenting and sharing is also possible.
The Tips tab gives you a free weight loss tip every day and more information on healthy eating and how to avoid various diet traps.
The Your Day tab shows an overview of your goals. This is where you add your daily food so the app can roughly show your calories. Furthermore, as a PRO member, you start your nutrition plan here.
The Profile tab contains all of the information you have provided, which you can change here. You can also access the settings here or show and hide content.
The weight loss app: Low Carb Recipes & Nutrition Plan Foodabi is very extensive and asks about sports and eating habits in order to create the perfect nutrition plan for you. Some recipes are also available in the free version. Everything is well explained and clearly presented.
