Bethesda announced that DOOM Eternal will be released on the Switch on December 8. Interestingly, the game can only be purchased via the Nintendo eShop. The boxed version, as reported by the developers, will not be available at the moment. Reports of canceled pre-orders appeared online around November 20, but we had to wait until now for the official confirmation of the deletion (or rather delay, after Bethesda’s words) of the physical edition of DOOM Eternal on the Switch.

Unfortunately, Polish players unfamiliar with English will also be disappointed. According to the information on the publisher’s official website, DOOM Eternal on the Switch version will not support the Polish language. In addition, console owners will also have to wait for the premiere of the Ancient Gods add-on, already released on other platforms, the date of which has not yet been specified.

After all, if your core gaming platform is Switch, DOOM Eternal is worth a look. This title was originally released on March 20, 2020 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and on the Google Stadia service, and it won the hearts of the reviewers with the march, reaching an average of 89% on OpenCritic. Critics praised above all the great gameplay and beautiful audiovisual layer. The 2016 DOOM, on the other hand, has proved that the series is also incredibly playable on the Switch.
